I bought a Moray on Ebay recently and it arrived today. This item has obviously been very played with, but that's cool, because I like my toys to have had at least some action before I clean them up and retire them to my collector's shelf. (It's like the retirement home for old Joes, right?) Anyway, with this boat came a very worn and loose Lamprey. His o-ring was almost gone, but that's easy enough to replace, right? Anyway, when I took him out of the Moray to re-pose him, it snapped. I went to repair him, and discovered his back screw was very rusted into place. I tried anyway, but to no evail. The screw is stripped. Now I'm retiring this war-torn veteran of the Cobra legions. He has fought many a fantastic battle in someone's bathtub or swimming pool. This is always sad for me, so I have written this as his eulogy to share with my fellow tankers. Thanks for reading!

Goodbye Lamprey #1027, you were a good soldier.

For the condition he's in I think retirement is the best route. Major paint wear, loose arms and knees. He's going into my custom bucket... his final resting place.
