Everyone = Thanks to all that sent me a PM, Email or called. I really very much appreciate all the effort. I did find someone that is local to my area and picking it up tomorrow. Hopefully (no offense) he's not an Ebayer. I really do want this going to someone that will appreciate or be willing to split up and trade for free.
If for some reason the Tanker doesn't show up tomorrow. I will PM all those that have expressed interest. Thanks again and I will have more later to give away for free. |

If you're having difficulty expediently unloading your other GI Joe stuff and you want it to go to people who appreciate them, you can always try giving them away to a local orphanage/children's hospital. Something about the idea of a poor/lonely/ill child getting even just a modicum of enjoyment and abrief respite from their troubles from an old and well-loved GI Joe toy makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Man oh man I would have loved to get in on this. I live up in NYC but I would have had no problem driving down to Philly to pick these up. I would have even treated you to a Phillies game and some cheesesteaks.
Congrats to the tanker who is going to receive this wonderful collection. By the way captain99 you are one hell of a great human being to be doing this. I wish you good luck on your move and all.

Zuludelta - Thanks for the suggestion and I have thought of that, as a matter of fact, most of my Comic Book collection & Trade Paperback collection will be going to Local Children's Hospitals.
Additionally I had a lot of generous offers from a lot of you, one of the nicest offers was from a guy here that offered to make a donation to any charity of my choice, even though I wasn't accepting payment. I really appreciated that. Sadly I had already promised to another tanker that is close by. I will be rummaging through some of my other boxes and see whats left as a number of you have asked. I will post again on this thread if there is anything left. Again thanks for all the offers and I have to say there are a LOT of great people on this site!!!!! |

Thanks Scoop. I've done this before with other parts of my collections in the past as well. I feel that I've gotten my money's worth and my enjoyment out of it, so why not just pass them along?
I do wish I had more time, as I would have pieced mealed out for as many as possible. there's always next time. |

regardless of joes acquired, good luck, and safe trip on your move. I've seen a lot of good sentiment on this thread which is all too rare, but amazingly refreshing. from your friend and a fellow tanker. If there is anything you need let me know.
