The other day I decided to gather all my loose 25th figs,I put them on the floor and let my 1 year old son play with them. Instantly he picked up beachhead and rip is leg off,(I felt like crying)then he bagan to pick each figure up and stared at them one at a time. The one figure that seemed to amaze him the most was hooded cc,he bagan to throw them all over the place and stomp on them(I guess he considers that playing with them)then I noticed,he would holding on to the hooded cc and would not let it go. Even when I tried to take it from him,he refused to let it go and got angry with me. He continued to some what play with the other but kept cc close to him, I even notice him kissing cc and smiling at it while he just abused the other figures. I couldnt take it no more so I pick them all up from random places around the house and forced the cc out his hand, I then put them all in freezer bag and told his to take one and he dug his hand through the bag and pull out cc. Thats when it hit me,my baby has a favorite joe character,I was so proud. I decided to let him ad hooded cc to his personal collection, which consist of,a sigma 6 sky bat, sgt.slaughters triple t and now hooded cc. Its crazy because, hooded cc was the very first 25th figure I found when the line was launched. I know alot of you may think, who cares or big deal but its cool for my one year old to pick a favorite joe.

Dude, that is awesome!!! My youngest son who is 3 now, loves Destro. When I started collecting again when the 25th line came out, he saw Destro and took him. We recently got him a 84 Destro with gun and breifcase and he takes it everywhere. Here is to many more Joe moments with are kids.

If anyone thinks "who cares" then they simply don't see the big picture. The only way that joes will contine as a line is if children (yes they are toys afterall) continue to want them. It is awesome that the little guy picked a favorite joe. I can only hope that my son (if and whenI have one) will put some of my collection to use. Great story!

beautiful story, Conflict. that's the cutest. my 7 year old daughter is getting hooked on Joe's because she sees Dad's obsession and feeds off of it. LOL. she likes the girls, of course. she keeps asking me to let her play with my '87 Jinx, but that one is off limits! instead i give her all the Scarlett's, Lady Jaye's, and Baroness' she can handle.

Seeing as it is inevitable, let me be the first to say..."Pics or it didn't happen." Juuuuuuuuuust kidding.
Anyway, anyone who doesn't enjoy reading a story like that has no heart and was never loved by another human. Thanks for sharing! Actually just yesterday my nephew was over and informed me that his favorite was Snake Eyes. Nearly brought a tear to my eye... |

lol it just amazes me how picky my son is, he absolutely hates the family dollar/dollar general $2 figures. I bought a bunch of those about a year back and he refused to even look at them. Oh yeah,if any customizers need a beachhead minus his left lower leg for parts, let me know.

Nice story. I'm a little apprehensive to let my boys touch my collection. I know how rough they are on their toys. I've let them pick out some things at the store here and there. My 7 year old has become Joe obsessed. My 4 and 2 year old will come around eventually.
