I have this entire sealed box of GI Joe trading cards from 1991. The box contains 36 packs of cards. The cellophane is still on the box so I have never even seen the cards. Does anyone else have any of these. I don't know much about cards so I don't know if they are more valuable sealed in the box or not. If anyone knows anything about these I would like to hear from you.

The flash on the last pic kind of made it hard to see. It is just a pic of the date, copyright and company that distributed them. The company is called Impel.

I dont know about the value. I know there is an early set for the 80s that has the art from figure packaging and cartoon.
This set had more comic art and had some cards with comic covers and cards honoring dead on both sides. (including nemisis emforcer as dead) |

They are worth about 25 bucks for a sealed box. I have a set in a binder =)
They are awesome. You should open them.

Thanks for the info. I think I will open them now. Do you know how many cards are in a complete set? It says 12 official trading cards on the box. If I open enough to get a complete set I will make the reaming packs available for trade if anyone wants them.

There are 200 cards in the complete set. You should get really close to a complete set from a box, if not a complete set. If you don't get a complete set I have a few cards left from putting my set together.

I bought a sealed box for $6.95 on ebay last month, so they aren't too valuable. Go ahead and open them up! They're neat cards.

Yup, very cool cards. If I were you, I would look into buying some G.I. Joe CCG/TCG cards, they are very cool.
