Hmmm, I don't know if i agree with your comparisons here, because immunity from 99% of death is a pretty powerful power. I guess it would depend on your situation and whatnot, but in no way would i say wolverine is indicative of the everyman hero, because he has little to no fear of death. without mortality to gamble, your odds in situations go way up.
But wolves is far from being immortal. Sure, he takes advantage of what he has, but when he didn't had it, he always managed to still be the best :P He is very aware of death, he simply doesn't care. I guess that also makes a difference...wolverine is a character too tortured, while Supes not (despite Krypton's boom, he didn't really had attachments to it) Wolverine has the same rep bub, he has walked over quite a few bodies in the name of "Justice". At least Castle is gambling his life and his freedom to do so. Wolverine pretty much does as he pleases until a more powerful super smacks his bottom and gives him a time out Wolves kills opponents, that's right. But he never scarificed others willingly, not even opponents. Castle killed Micro. Granted, it was a though call, but wolverine would had Screwface kill him instead of a friend. In any case, the writers make a lot of difference that's true. Bah, nobody thinks that, man, don't worry.

lol, yeah, got a bat in a trade with a malformed bicep, and i had another bat already with a seriously fubar'ed torso so i pooled their parts so i had one good bat, and one messed up one. And then i decided to make a bat custom.
Basketcase was rescued from a terrordrome trash dump by a couple of 'Noks who hadn't earned their wings yet. They were supposed to be guarding the bikes while Zartan carried out club business with Cobra, but one of them, Wrench, saw the trashed b.a.t. and other assorted parts and decided to "liberate" them. After weeks of work, he had a working B.A.T cobbled together mad scientist style. Zartan thinks it's a foolish waste of time, but cares little as long as it doesn't disrupt club activities. Heya, RP!
