eh, i don't really consider White Castle burgers to be sliders (i don't even really consider them burgers). My mom made them when i was a kid, but she called them miniburgers. I don't know about canada though. I know you guys have a surplus of mayo, hockey, comedians, and hot chicks...other than that, i'm clueless eh.

*barf* my buddy had these "friends" from canada (re: two really smokin hot chicks he was hoping to upgrade from friend to something more) who came to visit. They made poutine for us, and ..... wow, not for me. I could have handled the mayo, maybe even the cheese curd, but the two combine with gravy...yeuch! not for me.

That reminds me, they don't have Fries Supreme down here at Taco Bell. I'm sure you can get carne asada fries at Mexican places down here. But that's probably more "down here" in Texas than in Virginia.

I'm not a big gravy fan, at all. I like mayo depending upon what it's on. I mean, if you ditch the gravy (and mayo) poutine is just cheese fries, which are pretty good. I like "Fully Loaded" cheese fries, which is fries with shredded cheese (usually colby jack or cheddar) , bacon pieces, and sourcream w/chives.

Texas is the birthplace of "frito pie" which i consider an american analogue to poutine.
