I'm good man, things have calmed down finally so I can really focus on school a bit more. Other than that, just catching up on some MOTUC figures while we have a lull in new Joe stuff. |

That's cool. I'm on a DCU Infinite Heroes kick myself in the lull. I've almost got all the ones I want and I'll be glad to take a break until POC hits.

Well, those are a bit cheaper than MOTU LOL. But I guess you have more to uy than I do. I just snagged a Moss Man yesterday and will be getting She-Ra (hopefully) when she gets released next Tuesday. After that, the only ones I'll be looking for are Scare Glow, Webstor, and maybe King Randor.

Yeah I don't think I could ever justify picking up a single fig for $30 a pop unless it transformed into something. That's just me being cheap though, plus MOTU doesn't have as much a nostalgia factor for me than Joes, TFs or even SW toys do. I don't think I've dropped more than $5 on any given DCIH fig, and I'm a fan of their ghetto old school Super Powers-like articulation.

I lived and breathed MOTU as a kid so it's a must for me. I'm mainly sticking with the more vintage inspired figures though. After I catch up, I'll probably only get two or three more this year depending on who is released.

I hear that. I was the same with TF, then Joe ... and then TMNT later on. MOTU was cool, as were Thundercats, Skyhawks, Bravestar and all the rest, but TF was always boss with me.

I think TF was the one i never really got into. I mean, I had a few of them, but my hierarchy was MOTU, GI Joe, Thundercats. I'm interested to see how the new T-Cats toon turns out and the look of the new figures.

Eh, getting along...you know me, SSDD! Feeling a little better now, less fluid in the lungs.

I tried to like the DCU figures, but the articulation is just horrible! I love the MotU property, but i just don't care for the toys. I loved the sculpts/likenesses of the 200x MotU stuff, but hated the articulation. If they would have done those with Marvel legends style articulation, i would probably be hip deep in motu figures. |
