I can't for the life of me figure out the emblem. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't that the G.I. Joe emblem for the Sgt. Savage line?

I dont know. It has an old school feel about it. GI J (with a soldier's head over the J) OE. My son has some hotwheels sized army vehicles with the same logo on them.

the retread "classic" 12in joes of the early 2000s carried that label, without obvious spillover to other areas of joeness. Personally, i always preferred the single star with vertical red,white,and blue stripes that ran under the "arms" of the star

It looks like Reepicheep from Prince Caspian with Viper head and green joe helmet. Not sure on the horns tho.
