Thanks for the thoughts SE, i have a few creative irons in the fire but i haven't hit that "Aha!" moment yet....hopefully soon. I mean, i love being employed...having a job, but it's hard to work in a job that is totally without challenge, with co-workers that are decidedly less capable than you.

Shoulder is better, still bruised. Turns out i fractured a floating rib, but its not too bad. The worst part was the teeth. I have an appointment with a dental surgeon to discuss full extraction and dentures. Chewing has become difficult enough for me to go to fluid meal replacements for most of my meals. Otherwise i stick to mac n cheese, cottage cheese, and other soft foods. The pain is manageble but I miss meats and i'm tired of tasting my own blood. :( |

Thanks HT. Nah, my organs are pretty tough. Heck, if i hadn't landed on the edge of one of the steps i wouldn't have the rib issue. But yeah, i never took anything for granted like i have my teeth, and now I am sorely missing the basic ability to chew food. My woman is a huge Zombie fan, and she takes armageddon prep seriously, so we have been slowly acquiring gear and skills useful when/if the world gets smacked by fate. First aid stuff, basic surgical procedures (Treat GSW,remove bullets, etc) and now i am going to research how to make dentures, because if im running from a pack of ghouls and lose/break them, i need to know how to make more.
EDIT: Wait, does the above make me weird? |

The worst part of it though? A carniceria just opened up like, 5 blocks from my house and it's grand opening had crazy specials...Milanesa in six pound packs for 10 bucks. I bought a bunch and froze it, but i would have preferred to eat it fresh. They butcher alot of their stuff daily, so alot of the meat is really fresh. I am just hoping they don't go out of business before i can get my chompers fixed.
