Oh I could've cracked it, I just didn't want to go through the trouble and regluing it. I also figured that if I kept on using that claw the A tat would get scuffed so I didn't bother.
Incidentally HT, I got your fig here, I just need to post it and drop it in the mail. It'll get done today though. |

I'm just too lazy to buy a vise. I imagine the pressure can be applied more gradually with it. One thing I found out with those softer torsos is to drop them in hot (not boiling) water for a couple minutes and let them cool back down a bit. That seems to soften up the glue enough to crack the torso without damaging it. I actually do that with all of my fogures now.
Hmm, thats actually a good idea, i will give it a whirl after lunch. I happened to be at Harbor Freight Tools and saw the hobby vise with the rubber teeth guards for like, 11 bucks, so i bought it. I didn't even know what i was going to do with it. then a month or two later i heard about using vices to crack open joe/sw torsos.Worked like a charm. |

I love Harbor Freight. I could spend copious amounts of money there.

Yeah, HF is boss. I bought like 4 HDMI cables there for six bucks apiece. I plan to get an airbrush rig there too

I've bought all of my air tools from there. Most of their products are really great. HDMI cables you say? I may have to take a little trip today.

Yeah, they had 6ft cables for 6 bucks, and 12ft cables for 12. Handy. they are no frills, but they work as well as monster cables.
