No doubt, but i would hope that the age would have brought about the wisdom that he is a small fish in a big pond. The list of folks who can end him in marvel is quite long. But like i said, it depends on the writer. some writers write him as the gruff vet who is stern but has a heart...the old Ronin wolverine. At his core, with those writers, he is a good guy with honor and whatnot. Then other writers abandon that though , and it lessens the character...cheapens him, to being one step above sabretooth.

i think it boils down to creative imagination, they can only write so manny stories and plots, and angles on one character, and point out flaws, and streangths of the character over such a long span of time and try not to repeat the story more than once

THis is very true Snakey.. It's what the suspense, pictures, and plot come together to bring. It can be both good and bad, or a horrible experiance all together. But that's what makes story telling so challenging.

heh, I agree with the points on ol'canucklehead, (not DH) probably one of my favorite stories has got to be Wolverine The End, and I've heard good things about Old Man Logan, so much so that I may read the trade on my next comic run

can't wait then, will probably have to save some next month for it then, as I'm about tapped out with getting another box for storage purposes of my comics and getting classic gi joe vol.1 and gi joe cobra trades, plus blackest night and other assorted comics in my file
