Yeah, that was a great run...some of the other wolverine runs were ..... not good. But that one was solid. I just got sick of the whole "Wolverine is baddest mofo around" mentality that became so prevalent, when he can easily be annihilated by many marvel characters.

Ruro ni Oni Ken - Wandering Demon Blade or thereabouts Wandering Devil Blade would fit too since Oni is translated either way in the sense of a non specific evil entity.

I still pick up a sword now and then. There is an Iaido class here in about 10 minutes.. But I'm too tired to head to the dojo to find out more. It has been a study of mine for many many years. But 26 years + in various martial arts.. I'm rather partial to my Katana, and Ninjaken.

as a tatoo artist i have to say i have covered a few wolverine tatoos that were ok tatts, they just regret having it at some point and would rather have something unique most likely tatoo to cover that is a dragon collage or Koi fish.

Wait, so do most wolvie tat owners just tend towards unique koi or dragons as covers, or are they picking some kind of stock dragon/koi out of a book to cover a wolverine tat? I'm a little confused. Personally, i think tattoos are permanent expressions that people just take waaaaay too casually these days.i mean, yay that artists have plenty of biz, but boo on customers that have random butterfly/flower trampstamps or some kind of cookie cutter tribal whatever because its trendy and edgy. |
