DH, being the person that stepped down and gave you my Co-Leader position a year ago, I can honestly say I'm proud of what you have done for the team.
That being said I know how real life can affect you and you should concentrate on the more important things (real life) Glad to have served as both your leader and under your command. YOu are a great leader and have done well. Glad you will still be on the team! |

ok joes, it is with a heavy heart that i must make this announcement.
After leading the joe team through the last 10 completed games, the time has come for me to retire from the position. If i could, i would happily continue to lead this team indefinitely, but with my increasing real-life workload, the time required to do my job properly is simply too much for me to manage. I am proud of the work i have done over the last 10 months as team leader and i am proud of the accomplishments that we have achieved as team. We expanded the roster from twelve to over forty-five, and went from a losing streak of 9 games, to being 7-2-1 together. I shall remain proud of these accomplishments for a long time to come. We are now the unchallenged best team in the game, and with almost half of the iron grenadier's roster comprised of former joes, i feel as though i have helped to build two teams. I don't want anyone to think that my departure from the position of team leader will have any effect on the dominance of this team. The same players are still here, as well as many new ones, to fight to the finish. All command strategies, documents and everything else will be passed on to the new leadership. Although elections will need to held, i strongly suggest to the team, that you keep intact the command structure that i have put in place the last two games: M_renegade, solid strider and chief w o flint. They are well prepared to take over the management of the team, having both the knowledge and experience required to lead us to another string of victories. We have discussed specifics of how that will work, and when elections come a full ticket will be presented for you to vote on. Over the last two games they have put in as much or more work and time as i have to ensure our victory and i know they will do so again. Despite stepping down as leader, i will remain with the team, playing in whatever capacity the new leadership chooses to put me, and will consult on strategy when required. I do ask that no one contact me via pm attempting to change my mind. Nothing here has led to this decision, and the factors affecting my real life schedule will not be changing any time soon. So, thank you to all the people who have played on the joes over the last year and whom i have had the opportunity to lead in all capacities. There are far too many of you for me to name, and i am proud to know each and every one of you. |

DH, may I be the first to say congratulations. I say this because this means that you are beginning a new chapter in your 'real' life that is sure to take you places. While it will be odd to not see you as the leader, it's good to know you'll still be around. I will say I'm happy for you and all the best in your personal endeavors

DH,
It's sad to see you step down, especially for me, since you were the one who accepted me into the team on my first day on the Tank. That much being said, I understand not having time to lead the team. I've remarked before that it would have to be a TON of work and, being a grad student, you've got a lot going on. It's been an honor to follow such a great leader, bro. Like any good officer though, you've prepared the troops under you for command and I'm sure that they'll step up and make you proud. So good luck on your real life endeavors and never forget that we'll be here to celebrate your successes with you. YO JOE!!!

DH, you will always be the 'Joe leader' to me. You built and recruited me to the best team in the game and for that I am very thankful and honored. I wish you luck in your future endeavors and I'm so glad you will still be a part of us. It just wouldn't be the same here without your guidance and strategy. Oh and the reason for your sparkling? The shiny sterling record you rang up as leader and the shine off your boots which none will be able to wear as well as you did. Yo Joe!

DH, you were a hell of a leader. Your dedication, attention to detail and your tenacity, have permanently raised the bar in regards to what is expected from a team leader. You have set a fine example and you will be a tough act to follow. The upside to this is that you have built an infrastructure that will remain strong despite your departure from leadership. I am glad that you will still be playing, and as Huer-ta put so well, the fact that you no longer have time to lead, is an indicator that you are moving into a new chapter in your personal life. Congratulations. |

Team Challenge #6 Rumble in the Jungle! The G.I. Joe team has challenged Cobra and the Iron Grenadiers to a three way, no holds barred, bare knuckle brawl in the Amazon Jungle! Each team must choose their champion for this fight and must submit their selection to me no later than Wednesday March 17. Rules: 1. Hurt only, no Heal, Move or Action. 2. Players will post their maximum Hurt according to what class they will be playing in the main Game. 3. First team to post 50 Hurt points, will knock out the other two fighters. You will not specify a target, just post: Cobra Soldier Hurt -2 4. First team to knock out their opponents will win the Team challenge and will get to choose an Item worth one point from Vader’s Armory. Choose your champions and prepare for combat! Good luck! Wow! so...i don't really know what to say...
I am sad to see you go as leader DH, you played a big part in making the game playable for me as a newb and i will miss that guidance. At the same time, I am positive your command staff you have put in place will be up to the task. And you will still be serving with us, shoulder-to-shoulder when it comes to the snake stomping time so perhaps the transition will be good for all involved. YoJoe! Quote:
