No one can outdo me on spicy food.
The kitchen staff of the Thai place down the street from my apartment came out to look at me and see the person who ordered the curry 5X Thai-style hot. These days I usually don't get it that spicy, though, unless I am getting it to go and taking it home to eat...as the spice causes my nose to run and I go through a couple of boxes of tissues while eating which is rather disgusting to restaurant patrons and unnerving to associates as they think I'm going back and forth to the bathroom to do drugs. |

Hmmm, I don't know about that BFJ, I think I could probably go toe to toe with you on that one, LOL. I'm in pretty deep with the Thai community out here and I am somewhat of an expert on Thai cuisine. If you ever make it out here, you and I will have a blast! I'll take you on a tour of our best Thai restaraunts.
There was once a Thai restaurant in Memphis, TN called the Golden Dragon that had this dish called char meteek (or something like that...I googled it but nothing came up). It was basically sauteed chicken and green and red hot chili peppers. It was sublime. It's the hottest thing I've ever eaten. It burned the inside of my mouth (I was younger and tenderer then, though) and it was sore for a couple of days afterwards. In high school and graduate school (not so much in college) I cooked the hell out of Asian food. I used to have this cookbook of all different Asian cuisines. I would make this Indonesian beef dish called rendang daging. Exquisite. I could do Vietnamese chicken with lemon grass. Thai curries were the most common thing I made and I made my curry paste from scratch. I was quite good at it, but working has killed me for cooking so I imagine my skills have dulled dramatically over the years. |

I accept your challenge, should the day ever come! I imagine Vegas has wonderful restaurants.

My days of eating fire to impress the Thai girls are over. We'll just eat some good food and hang out with the official Thai drinking team, LOL! |

For example, there's a little bakery down the street (well, not exactly, but you get the idea) that sells Jalapeno loaf which I enjoy to start every meal. And at the thai place here, I'm the only person who's ever ordered extra spicy more than once apparently. EDIT: my general rule is: if my mouth doesn't feel like its bleeding, its not hot enough. |

Got my Pit headquarters today and got it assembled, going to be a long time applying all the stickers. I do like it though, so many details and areas to use inside and the stickers are very nice. Hawk is bow legged like others have said, but otherwise a decent figure. I'm glad that I was able to buy it for half the list price, which was too high for it I think.

Spicy? You should see my regular meals.
