Attention players! We are gearing up for the first game of the New Year and its going to be a big one. I have several announcements that I am very excited about. Before I begin I would like to make a quick reminder to the team leaders:
Please remember to factor the Range into your strategies. The event that was triggered last game showed us all just how powerful of a tool Range adjustment can be. Just by changing from Mid range to close or Long range, the entire dynamic of the game changes. It also showed us that as a player, making the adjustment from one range to another is no big deal. Now, on to business, The rules haven’t really changed from the last few games, but I have added a few new things and deleted several things. The additions and subtractions are noted below: *Experience points have been updated, feel free to check out your points in the Master list towards the bottom of the rules thread: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...gulations.html *Regarding leveling up; The allowable level difference between teams has been lowered to 2 levels instead of four. *Group Targeting: Last game, I introduced group targeting, this hasn’t changed, however, please make sure that when you post a group Hurt or heal, you use the word “Group”. This way we avoid any confusion; G.I. Joe Soldier Hurt Character Group -2 *The G.I. Joe Ranger class, and Cobra Viper class, now have their IG equivalent: IG Grenadier. This will be the designation for IG players who are Ranger class. G.I. Joe Ranger Cobra Viper IG Grenadier *New Class added!! I have now added the SWAT / Alley Viper / Shock trooper class. Like the Ranger class, each team will use an appropriately themed designation for this class; G.I. Joe Swat Cobra Alley Viper IG Shock trooper Details are in the rules thread. Special thanks to M_Renegade, He took my good idea and made it a great idea! Thanks for the suggestion! *Pilots; when using Air to Air combat, you now have four hours to respond to an attack instead of three. *MVP Classes = This is not new, but I need to remind you guys about this. Players may not be an MVP class two games in a row. If you played as an MVP last game, you may not be an MVP this game. I want everyone to have a chance to play as an MVP class, not just the same people every game. Exception: If you are playing for a different team than you were last game, I will leave this at your team leaders' discretion. *I have removed two Action commands and added several new items to the Armory, details are in the rules thread. Also, you may no longer have more than one of the same item in your arsenal at one time. *Special abilities; I have removed the HP limits on using special abilities, you may now use them as long as the character is not K.O. In addition, Action commands, special abilities and CMs may now be used in the endgame, I have removed these restrictions as well. *Story Mission game: details are in the rules thread, sign up now! *Rules of engagement; this system will act as a buffer against gang up attacks. Remember, the team that is being saved by this system might be yours. Details are in the rules thread. *Suggestions; I asked for some suggestions regarding what environments and characters you would like to see in future games, and you guys came through with some awesome stuff! I will most definitely be incorporating your suggestions, please keep them coming! Well, that’s all for now. Eh, sunday shift is my favorite work day, as I am the only one in the pit, so its calm. I run a skeleton shift, so i have some spare time to customize or work on other projects. All in all, its a laid back, minimal stress, work day. How's your sunday? I could fax you a cup of lifer's juice, don't think it will be usable on your end though ;)
