Awesome! I don't know much (or anything really) about forging weapons but I always thought it would be something really cool to learn

It is fun, and im kinda doing it the "hit and miss" way, so it can be costly here and there. Burned myself a couple of times too. I have a buddy who makes small knives but he has all kinds of math for blade design so his blade geometry is just right. I kinda pound mine out by eye and feel.

It's alright Tenk, how about you? We're probably leaving work early because the weather's going to get crappy in a few hours. Coming from the northeast, I think it's hilarious when the huge panic starts because of bad weather down here in Texas. They're just not equipped to deal with it, but it's funny nonetheless!
By the way, that was your 500th post! Congrats on that! |

By the way, that was your 500th post! Congrats on that! I know what you mean about the weather though. My fiance is from florida and if we get more than an inch it terrifies her. We just had a blizzard which dropped us about 20in of snow, and she was so scared of it. Turns out she didn't hit anyone, but two other cars did hit her though. So we are going round and round with the Insurance companies now to get it fixed. |

That sucks man. Back home I used to see cars spin out sometimes just after it snowed. It would cover up patches of ice so drivers wouldn't see them. I just don't get drivers who do stupid stuff when the weather's bad out. It sounds like your fiance is ok, so at least there's that. Sorry to hear about the inusrance issues though.

Thanks for the positive thoughts man, it happens. This was just a case of the other drivers grossly overestimating their skill as motor vehicle operators. But like you said, my girl was ok, so i'm not too upset over it. On an unrelated note, who in the **** made the fake 'n' bake orange tans popular???? i keep seeing women sporting this look and it makes them look like giant oompaloompas. Bizzarro!
