DH Those are some sick customs!! I must go withthe majority and say Lowlight is my favorite.
On a side note, I'm working on a Slice custom. Anyone have any ideas how I can do the mask other than sculpting? |

Depends on which style Slice you are going for H-T 1992 - I'd say Viper head or Chrome Faceplate CC head 1993 - I'd say Viper head or Chrome Faceplate CC head 1994 - I'd say Viper head or Chrome Faceplate CC head 2002 - I'd say Viper head or Chrome Faceplate CC head 2004 - I'd say any unmasked figure's head and then sculpt the headpiece and goggles on If you are doing Slice in the newest style ('04 & '08), then this will require more thought and work. You could use one of the Accelerator Suit helmets without the faceshield part and then add some goggles but it would look too bulky and not very ninja like.

I have to admit, when I first got into customizing, I thought it was quite a daunting undertaking, but I sort of jumped in with both feet. It's not easy, but its not particularly difficult either. Just think about what you want to do. The simplest suggestion I can make: 1) Select the figure you want to update 2) compare the parts of the OG figure with parts from modern figures 3) get those parts. 4) combine them into a complete figure 5) (OPTIONAL) - dremel and sculpt features that cannot be gotten from other figures 6) paint 7) enjoy, post and brag Thanks. Thank you. Quote:

DH, customs are A - W - E - S - O - M - E!!!!!!!!! All of them look excellant and true to their OG conterparts, great job and if I had to say which is my favorite...........Crazylegs! Low Light and Lifeline are up there too but I've always liked Crazylegs ever since a kid and he looks pretty close to spot on from the original so he got my vote for #1.

As for Slice, I'd honestly go with one of the plethora of CC heads you likely have (assuming your doing the original version). |

After a night of drinking, i just wanted to tell you all after weighing my options.
Chili's has way better 2 for 1 drinks than Applebees. That is all

I've bought all 4 of the ONE CASE my store got in. First one a month or two ago, the Outpost defender, they didn't shelve the other three till two days before Christmas or so, and I grabbed the Law and S. post... then the heet seek sat on the shelf till I was in the other day and I grabbed it for half off. They have about 20 Ninja Battles set but all for full price.

Lucky you.
Our Wal-Marts are very inconsistent about marking things down. They still have stuff in the clearance aisle from last Christmas, or rather Christmas before last Christmas that has had maybe $1-2 reduced from the original price. The battle stations have never appeared here. It would be sweet if they suddenly showed up and on clearance, though. I was pretty excited, as ours NEVER marks stuff down.

Nice customs DH.
I think Crazylegs might be my fave too. I loved him as a kid. Even had the night force one. My own Father was Airbourne so i liked playing with him. Nice up date on him. I like the Lowlight like most everyone else. The others were nice too. I like the "Male" dial tone was pretty sweet.

Ok.. One question before bed. I was watching ROC the other day with the kids. Kinda just glancing at it as I did other things and I really liked the gun the Baroness used during the paris chase scene.
The gun in her hands here. (( it's the same gun. One just has the forward grip flipped down, the other has a scope and silencer on the same gun.)) Figured I'd ask you guys. What kinda gun is it? It looks sorta like an Uzi, but it's not. Figured someone out here in Joe land would know what it is.
