Any Star Wars fans here? You see this yet?
That video looks GREAT. We'll ignore the MASSIVE inaccuracies that the central tower on the Jedi Temple had not been built at that time, that there were 2 more statues in the approach row, and that the skyline is the exact same as 4500 years later. But a good effort. EDIT: Yes, I know THAT much about star wars to nitpick that. |

That is going to be a great game (my above nitpicks aside).
I'm very pleased with how the EU is focusing on that era of late. |

Its about TIME Bioware got there shit together. The TOR comics have been online for months, Sue Rostoni (The LFL book editor) is working on having the author put the finishing touches on the Tie-in book, and we've been left with a handful of screenshots til now.

I started collecting Star Wars when the 30th anniversary line came out in '07. Originally I just started buying the different clones/stormies that Walmart had and then set them up MOC downstairs on shelves in my theater room. Then I made the mistake(or not) of looking on ebay for some of the other clones that were on the cardbacks and wow! All of a sudden my 6 clones grew to an army of 30, then 40, then 50! Then I started buying all of the ROTS(2005), Saga(2006), 30th(2007-2008), and The Legecy(2008+) that I could find in stores & ebay. Then I saw the 25th G.I.Joes sitting on the pegs at Walmart one day when they didn't have any new Star Wars stuff in for like 2 months(I'm starting to see a pattern here........) and grabbed a Hiss Driver and Destro and started looking at them. That was the end of buying Star Wars for me(although I still do checkout the new waves) and now have ammassed a huge 25th G.I.Joe collection(98% loose) and am now starting to collect the 25th single carded figs MOC(just got a wave 2 Cobra Trooper for $1.20 + $3 s/h off of ebay and it arrived today in C9-C9.5 condition I'd say) and TRU SRO sets along with the SDCC exclusives. I will always love Star Wars though because they are some of my favorite movies but my favorite toys as a kid were G.I.Joe and nothing came close to them. The 25th line is what brought me to this site and I've had a great time so far and made alot of new friends here as well.

Star Wars 30th
G.I. Joe 25th Transformers 25th I've sort of rolled from one anniversery line to the next. I'll still get the occasional clone or fav character from star wars, but I'm mostly on joe now. That and star wars novels (see my profile for that). |
