I've had an interesting evening.
Went to Auburn where I went to graduate school. That's where my collecting really began. The town has probably tripled in size since 1999. Back then, they had two regular Wal-Marts but they're both Super Centers now. I remember getting up at 6AM and throwing on some clothes to try to score some POTF2. That's such a joke now. Drove past a few of my old hang-outs and haunts. A lot of them are gone now. Auburn's a cool little college town. Truth be told, if they had a TRU and I could get a job making at least the same money I'm making now, I'd move back. And everyone in Auburn looks like a model. I've never seen more pretty people outside of a magazine. Found one of the four Battle Stations at the Opelika Wal-Mart. Of course it was the LAW, the one of the four I don't want. I did get a few of the WM exclusive Holocaust wave for a friend, though. No Tigra or Nova but they had the rest. Then wound up lost in the sticks. Took a wrong turn trying to get to the Tallassee Wal-Mart and ended up in Tuskegee. Nearly had a real-life "I Know What You Did Last Winter" experience...almost ran over some jackass walking in the middle of the road in the pitch black carrying groceries. That was exhilarating. Finally found the interstate. I hate country backroads, though the stars are beautiful on a clear cold Alabama night.

Sounds like a fun night BFJ. I'd congratulate you on 'Bama's win tonight but I'm guessing you're not a fan?

Just got back from some happy hour sananigans myself. Had to call it an early night. I didn't feel like staying out till 2am and easily dropping a $100.

BFJ, I just learned more about the geography of AL from your post than I've learned in my 31 years of life.

Man I remember those days LOL. I used to prey on the older ladies, or cougars if you will . My conversation would go something like this:
HT: Hi, I'm Steve can I buy yu a drink? Cougar:I'm married. HT: Are you Happily married? Cougar: *starts crying about how her husband hates her and her I am to 'console' her* Ahhh..how I miss being single... *in my best creep voice* and besides... are you happily married?

You guys wanna laugh. I made this spur the moment kinda thing Leave a post in there tell me what you think.
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...hree-joes.html I have only ever seen the 2 that I found and bought, both at TRU at the same time. I've never seen that case anywhere else, even remnants of it. I have noticed stores are restocking the BNB waves for Christmas but I have yet to see that assortment. I plan to pick up any Slaughters I find in case someone here needs them. Quote:
I now know why the town was so quiet tonight. Everyone was at home watching football.
