The thing is, with the kitbashing i have four different flesh tones. Head: Rock n Roll (pinkish tone) Torso: NF Outback (neck slightly orangeish tone) Upper arms: NF Outback (similar to neck, but since its casted plastic, is slightly different) Lower arms: 25th Shipwreck (pinkeish tone) I didn't bothered on the lower arms, because it the 25th Shippy, the arns are painted, so enamels get a good hold on it. But the upper arms are plastic, so i can't paint on it. And the damned head is really pink, i matched almost the same colour than the neck. Now, the problem is, that i always varnish the figure at thened, to protect the painture. Varnish will make it a bit darke, and now it won't match. So i'll have to re-repaint to lighter,...*sigh*

The problem is, no matter how many layers of acrilic you apply, the varnish makes the chemical effect and you get the sticky effect. You can safely paint with acrilics/varnish over surfaces with factory painting. Lacquers/varnish don't change the coulour of painting, but in time, it gets slightly yellowish with humidity...and we have a lot of humidity. Now, i'm counting on it, so i calculate the mix of painting so when varnish is dry, the yellowing effect is compensated, but i missed the correct colour. The problem is that the upper Outback arms are casted in flesh tone. I can paint the rest safely, but i'm not sure about the upper arms. Btw...i wish hasbro used SS short sleeved arms instead of those fugly weenie upper arms of Outback...

I already use acrilics.

In any case, it's just the upper arms. I mean, it's only like 5-7 milimeters, i'm not that nitpicky. On the other hand, i've painted Chuckle's pink flowers and i'm really really happy how they come up. If not for the gloss of the enamels, it looks almost factory made.
