Does anyone have any experience hanging vehicles from ceilings?
I have a local collector friend who does this. He even has the POTF2 Millenium Falcon and Imperial Shuttle suspended from his ceiling, but I've been paranoid 'bout attempting it...'til now. I want to hang my old POTF2 Vader's TIE Fighter, Luke's X-Wing, and escort TIE Fighters from the ceiling in my extra bedroom. Any suggestions? My ceiling is that stuff that looks like white kitty litter. Quote:
Popcorn ceiling, Barefoot. You probably need ceiling hooks. I've found you some fancy ones:
Google Image Result for http://www.morrellmetalsmiths.com/store/i/is.aspx?path=/images/B-27.jpg Plastic anchors to screw the hooks into couldn't hurt, either. The hooks FP suggested will work perfectly (we have a few in my house thanks to the previous owner's hanging plant obsession) When I saw this, I thought...uh oh. More on that later. Quote:

Well, it appears Dr. Nightmare is now banned.
I'll kind of miss him. I like quirky threads. You know, I stumbled into the Tech Support section here and read the qualifications for how a Tanker should conduct him/herself if he/she wants to be considered as a moderator, and found it rather eye-opening that it is almost exactly the opposite of the way I conduct myself 'round here. Like most of what I do is what Super Megatron said not to do. Though I've never posted anything on purpose for someone to like it so much they quote it in a sig...that just happens naturally. As for the mod-ship, I read that too. I'm never getting modded by the looks of that. Ah well. Lets me raise more havoc as team leader!!! Quote:
I can't help it if I'm a narcissist! lol
and at least you are quoted saying normal things. I am currently quoted in sigs saying "I want to see the assault on Dukes anus" and "I went looking for love online and all I got was tasered." Neither of which are flattering. lol spooky |

Too bad, he seemed like a good fellow. I never saw any stirring of the pot of off base chat from him. Sad, I liked the cut of his jib.

LOOK OUT! HE'S HEADED THIS WAY!!!!!
Would it be revealing too much of my geekiness to reveal that I know both contexts of this almost quote? With that in mind, at least you're not radioactive. His jib huh? What about his topsail?

My joe-verse is now also hosted here (http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...-joeverse.html) and at Sector 12. I'm trying to help encourage cross-site traffic for our friend's new sites.
