Hey, Solid - the Stinger was pristine. My boy got a hold of it and has claimed temporary ownership until I get the time to turn it into a desert vehicle. There's nothing like watching a 2 1/2 year old pushing a car through the house yelling "Yo Joe".

Damn near bring a tear to my eye. My 2 year old girl is very fond of the Mantis (sting raider). We were watching the old toons and came to Cobra La. She went around the house yelling "lalalallala". Priceless.

Cool, glad to her John! You know, when I got back into toys, it was in 98 when that Rattler 4WD (aka Stinger) came out at TRU. I picked it up and was doing the same thing. My buddy found it amusing for a 17 year old to do that. |

I really wish I didn't miss out on the Stinger. I refuse to pay inflated prices for it.

Our Wal-Marts will probably get these after Christmas, if at all. The ROC 2-packs are pegwarming. I got excited at the Prattville Wal-Mart last night seeing an endcap of boxed GIJOE stuff from a distance (the world looks blue and green...?) but it was the 12" Snake Eyes and Storm Shadows with their motorcycles.

I got lucky. Very lucky. I went ahead and bought some expensive ones from BBTS when they went back up recently the very same week that EE cancelled my pre-order.

Yeah those 12 inch figs and bikes haven't moved at all down here. It's too bad, they actually look pretty cool.
