The thing that sucks is that Hasbro has made it super easy for repackers with the Rise of Cobra line. How hard is it to open up a box that is only sealed by a piece of tape and switch out whatever you want and retape it and say it's an error? It's their own fault since they made it way too easy to do and the stores for not looking close enough at returns to realize it and for poeple on ebay that don't know any better and think it is a real error item. It's pretty sad when people have to resort to this kind of stuff for making money, especially on toys!
Couldn't you do the same with, say, a box of Lego? Opening it, taking out the pieces/instructions, filling it with KO bricks, regluing it shut and returning it? Pics related, I got totally screwed: majhost.com Gallery

It's the fault of stores for taking it back, NOT Hasbro. Too much grab like twist ties, tape, rubber bands, magnets, metal plates, plexiglass sheets, etc would just mean more overpackaging and harder for the kids to open their toys.

It starts with the repacker first and then since retail stores don't bother to make sure everything is in there and it's the right stuff, they add to the problem. I would love to work at WM, Target or TRU and have a repacker try and return something to me. I'd jump over the counter and grab him/her and beat the crap out of them with one of those big red plastic baseball bats!

Yeah I felt bad for Fabio having to play that dumba$$ role. My wife said it was just like he said himself, he didn't have to agree to participate in the show. Marcel flipping out with little provocation was kind of funny. It was alright for what it was though, it's not like that Christmas or All Star challenge they had before where it was a competition again.
Cool about Marcus getting the win. It'd be even cooler if he takes it! I can't really say I'm rooting for any particular fighter this season, so it'd be cool if Rampage's last guy standing ends up being the last guy standing! Marcus seems like a big gentle giant and certainly seems pretty cool. I hadn't really gotten to excited about rooting for anyone in this season either!

My thoughts exactly on the selection of Fabio doing the hosting. I like him a lot and feel he wasn't able to be himself as much or he had to ask the dumb questions they wanted him to ask. I still think that he should have won or Stefan, as they were by far the better chef's from that season

We'll see what happens now with the rest of the season on TUF. Hopefully Marcus fights in the latter half of this next round. I think I'll start rooting for him just because he's the last Rampage guy. |
