Both "The Hobbit" and "Return of the King" are available on DVD, or they were, and Wal-Mart el cheapo bin DVDs at that. I have both. They were done by Rankin-Bass. They never made the other books, unfortunately.
"The Lord of the Rings" is the Ralph Bakshi film that condenses Fellowship and the first part of Towers. A sequel was planned but never made due to the commercial and critical disappointment of the first film. One of the reasons Peter Jackson wanted to make all three films at the same time was to prevent the same thing from happening again, that an adaptation would be made but not completed. I've also never found them on DVD, despite much searching. |

I would be all over action figures from that or "The Hobbit." I used my LJN D&D action figures as LOTR characters as a child: Ringlerun was Gandalf Strongheart was Aragorn Melf was Legolas Elkhorn was Gimli Trobbits from Blackstar were Hobbits Stripe the Gremlin was Gollum Warduke was the Lord of the Nazgul Gamorrean Guards were Orcs

DH I counted 15 hits after the one hour reset limit. Seems we are just a few shy. Still a couple hours before the first Coffee Force shows up...sigh. And it is hell keeping up with the thread on just a phone!
