Sons? As in Sons of Anarchy? I follow that one but on DVD - just watched season 5 a couple weeks ago. It was worth the wait.
My free time is pretty much still being sucked up by GTA but I'm enjoying it. Other than that, it's SSDD.

Haunted History, never heard of that. Good?
Yep, Sons of Anarchy. I used to wait, but got so addicted I'm paying for Amazon On Demand to keep up with the latest! Binge watching is still the best though. |

Believe it or not, it's not too bad waiting a year between releases (Okay, it sucked the first few years but I got used to it). Especially knowing I can watch it all back to back without commercials. And Sons has extended episodes on DVD so that adds a little cherry on top. Plus the special features are usually pretty decent.

I didn't realize they are extended on DVD, that's pretty cool!

It is alright depends on the topic. Each episode focuses on Haunted history of some part of the US. It plays on H2 (History Channel 2)

I don't think I get H2.
Bunch of shows do that, I think it's one of the ways they're competing with all the streaming/digital services - they don't seem to get the longer cuts. If you can find them cheap, the seasons are worth picking up. Were you into The Shield before Sons?

Oh yeah, I loved the Shield. By the end, I wanted someone to blow Vic's brain out though. In the beginning the line on doing bad for the 'right reasons' was so well done, as the series went on, Vic just covering his own ass at any cost turned me on his character and I just didn't care for him anymore.

I figured the character would either wind up like his mentor, a broken down bail bondsman with nothing and no one or just dead someplace. It was perfect that the only picture he kept in the end was of the one guy who died before he could screw him over.

That idea just sucks. I'm kind of tired a Hasbro putting all the good stuff in later waves, only to see those waves not hit traditional retail.
Seems like they're sabotaging themselves to me. This time, they had an accomplice though - Paramount Pictures. I seriously wonder what retail would look like if Hasbro hadn't yanked the line when Retaliation got pushed back. Or they had the foresight not to front load all the garbage figures. The Tomahawk (sorry, I just can't call it Eaglehawk!) was supposed to have come out at Target too, but it's only been out at TRU. If Target cancelled their order after it was already put into production, it's a good bet it'll show up at the likes of ROSS. Quote:
Well I had the 20% off coupon and cards, so it's not like I used real money for it and the Joe Dino set. ;)
Snagged the last Tomahawk, started to part swap for a good one when I realized the new one looked a lot better than the one in my box from last week. So I'll just keep the new one and return the other. Did swap around the blades so they don't droop anymore. Awesome. Thanks again! |

I agree with this. We had a free Starz preview last weekend and I was finally able to watch the last season of Spartacus. Mostly on Friday, while I was working, lol. Needless to say, I wasn't very productive on Friday.
