Attention Players! Clean your guns and sharpen your blades! The next chapter of the Hisstank RPG will begin on Thursday November 15, so Wednesday night, as Wednesday becomes Thursday.
We will keep the current command staff in place for this next round, then take the month of December off for a well deserved break. I know many of you will be traveling or spending the holidays with your families. During December, we will elect the new team Leaders, and begin the new three game set in January after the new year. Chapter 33 will be a stand alone chapter, and not part of a three game set. The G.I. Joe team will be playing against the Special Missions Force! Cobra will face off against the Iron Grenadiers! Good luck to all of the teams! I look forward to seeing you all on the battlefield soon! |

Steve Spurrier says Alabama Crimson Tide can beat NFL teams - ESPN Those kids wouldn't stand much of a chance, the rules are stricter in the NFL and if you let the pros use the college rules - you might as well just let the college team cheat, because it'll look like the pros are. College and the pros, while being the same game are two very different animals.

Yea, just too much speed and conditioning and muscle on the lines on either side of the ball. Alabama would be hopelessly out of it by the end of the first quarter, even the 0-16 Lions would have beaten them I'm sure of.

Plus in the pros, you don't get a Bowl game for coming in 3rd place.

Not just talent; Football IQ, that level of mental preparation and knowledge of the game that the pros do and have. All the checks and, faints done at the line by the QB in the pros, stuff like Manning does - the college team would have no clue how to react, they might not even know what the hell's going on. Pro QBs are playing chess at the line. These are grown men, the only responsibility they have besides their families is the game of football. They're not studying for classes, they're studying individual player tendencies.

They actually used to do something similar, but it was a pro team versus a team of college all-stars. Out of 42 games, the pro teams won 31 with 2 ties. And that was in an era where the gap between the pros and college was a lot closer, similar schemes and rules. Chicago College All-Star Game - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
