Okay Pig, here's an update. You get a message on the terminal and the location can only be accessed during docking - the elevator doesn't go there. Weapon mods are available at stores before you even talk to the mission contact.
UPDATE #2: The elevator doesn't go there, so Citadel Rapid Transit has returned. Enjoy the cab ride lol.

Pepsi, I don't know how often you check the thread (so i guess i should PM you this also) but given that I've worked on an orthopedic surgery ward, I thought I'd send you this if you wanted more information about your son's injury.
I hope its someting you may find helpful. I wish him a speedy recovery. -------------- Below is the article on Pediatric Forearm Fractures from UpToDate. UTD is the online reference considered best for point-of-care information about diseases and treatments, and what almost all doctors will use in the hospital if they need to look things up. Since you're likely not a subscriber, you won't be able to read all of it, but this is the best and most accurate resource for any information you might want for any medical problem. All the information published therein is based on reviewed original research. Midshaft forearm fractures in children --------------- This link will show you what they would have done to fix the fracture. It would be what's called an ORIF - open reduction, internal fixation, meaning that they opened the arm to put in the hardware on the bones. The screws and plate you described will likely stay in (usually permantly in adults unless they cause a problem, I assume its similar in pediatrics, but haven't had any exposure there), but the two pins through the skin will come out. https://www2.aofoundation.org/wps/po...tes+and+screws Based on your description of "shattered" bones, I would assume its a 22-C3 as I linked, though it could be 22-A3 or 22-B3 which you can investigate through this link. https://www2.aofoundation.org/wps/po...&segment=Shaft --------------------- Lastly, to address your concern about whether your son was doing something other than riding, while that would seem more likely than not, it is possible he's telling the truth about how it happened. When I was on orthopedics we had one patient who was riding an adult tricycle, and hit a rock with the front tire. The impact caused said patient to go over the handlebars, and in bracing the impact with both hands, suffered similar fractures in BOTH arms. As an older patient, bone density was admittedly lower than normal, but a child's bones are also. If his chain did break and he fell from the bike at a high speed, and used his arm to break his fall, a fracture like that is entirely possible. Ask him the details (if you haven't already). If his story makes sense, then he may well be telling the truth. Quote:
He says he was just riding down the street and his chain popped off his bicycle. But the damage that was done, shattering both bones in his arm and the complete right angle his arm was at about 4 inches above the wrist.... we think he was doing something other than just riding. Weither it be some sort of jump or something. We didnt' actually SEE the break itself. Just the aftermath.
Funny thing was. I'd just taught his younger brother to ride about a week before. The younger one had fallen off the bike 100s of times (( he was a slow learner. Stubborn lil guy)) Then a week later, this horrible horrible break from the older boy, and he claimed he was just casually riding and his chain popped off and he wrecked so bad that happened. |
