wow the X-29 is a Frankenstein plane
lol Powered by a single GE F404 turbofan, the aircraft used major components of other aircraft to keep costs down, including an F-5A forward fuselage and nose landing gear, and F-16 main landing gear and control surface actuators. |

Nasa is also part of the USAF if I remember correctly. so in short I am only part wrong. I've seen several of them that did state Nasa on the side of them and some I have seen as USAF experimental. unless I'm wrong somewhere along the line... but yes it is a GRumman design.
aircraft float between the groups though Both aircraft are now in store at the Ames-Dryden Flight Research Facility of NASA at Edwards AFB, California this make me think other wise somewhat Last edited by luigi; 06-09-2011 at 12:57 AM.. |

Shippy, you could probably stick a few A-10s on the Flagg if you modified them to look like Rattlers. There was actually a proposed Naval variant of the Warthog.

would love to.. but.. no access to an A-10 body to modify. and I don`t think the corsairII or Intruders I have here would work well.

Huh. Well, adding the third engine would be a problem anyway.

if I had a body to work with, I could easily make the rattler conversion with some cylinder streen plastic, and exacto-knife to remove the original thrusters position, and then put them on the wings.
but the work would be a bit hectic.
