zoundz like somebody got the drink on! did you hear about the guy in Philly that got arrested for child endangerment, and PI/DUI?
He had his 10 or 11y/o son drive his drunk ass to court where he was to appear for driving drunk...he was seen by several officers as the kid pulled up to the front of the court house...needless to say the kid is in state custody and so is his pops but in different circumstances. |

It was 11 for me, and my mom, not my dad.

I think that ever since I can remember I can NEVER remember ever seeing my dad sober.
Same with when I was 18 and met my biological father. I come from a long line... So I stay away from the drink (except once in awhile). |

The only person I've seen drunk is one of my brothers, and he's not nice when he's that way. Only once did I see him like that; erraicated driving, and a perveted comment to me. He's lucky he didn't get pulled over while driving. He's changed since then, but I still don't trust him.

WOW. No I didnt hear about that. WOW. When I was 13 my dad lived in the Chicago area and got wasted...I drove him home, got stopped by a cop on the way, and the cop actually didn't even do anything to me or my dad because he said at least my dad was smart enough to not drive drunk with me in the car. The cop was happy I was driving correctly...He was just curious as to why someone who could BARELY see over the steering wheel was driving to begin with...lol

I see drunk people ALL the time. And it's not pretty. Both of my ex-husbands were drunks, and I grew up with people around me that liked to drink... You're lucky that all you have ever seen drunk is your brother. Quote:
thats one thing about living in the sticks...we drove cars, tractors, trucks whatever since about the time you could walk and form a coherent sentence....as far as my dad drinking and driving...he didnt have too we would go to the local store and the owner would be like "hey son does your dad want a 6pk or a case(24 cans) and a carton of smokes?" I would say yessir he would grab the stuff, put it on the family tab and I would go outside drop it into the truck and drive home...I think I was 13 or so....boy you try that crap nowadays and oh holy hell the crap storm that would follow! LOL

You're lucky that all you have ever seen drunk is your brother. I hear ya. When I was growing up I would go to the liquor store with a note from my mom asking for a pack of wine coolers, a pack of cigs, and a small bottle of Jack Daniels for my step dad. And when I was with my dad on the weekends I would ride my bike to the corner liquor store with a note and a $50 and leave with a couple bottles of brandy a few packs of smokes and about $15 worth of penny candy...LMAO |
