LOL! What's really scary are the new helmets they are issuing to the Raptor pilots, have you seen that article? I have the link at home, not with me. The pilots wearing the helmets don't see the cockpit, they can look at objects directly underneath them like the plane isn't even there. How they do that, I have no idea. Each helmet costs over 250k. |

LOL it works for me, my friend had one, and we took it when we went camping one year, lost half the missles and guns to our figures but we had a blast flying around between trees

this thing? I cant wait for the civilian market to get these. Its going to be a huge boon to mechanics as you look at the motor with this overlay, and you can select items visually and it tells you how to dissemble the part, and what goes where, etc etc, and if your car has a computer it can tell you where the problem is. Military mechanics are gtting to test it first.

Yep, that's the one. The possible applications of that technology, both for the military and private sector are staggering. I could see them adapting that tech for infantry small unit tactics, greatly reducing friendly fire, making manuevers more efficient.

And you're not kidding about how they move. Seeing them at Airpower over Hampton Roads is... eye-opening. Watching it go into a controlled fall, pivoting around its nose, then hitting the throttle and shooting straight up... Amazing. Quote:

Its a 2 seater, so they could easily retool it like the SkyStriker. I dont know about currently if it fits 25th figures though. Id like to see a redo version thats slimmed down, drop the goofy targeting stuff, make the missles the right colors, maybe expand the wings and call it good.
