if it fits the POC setting I'll use the old school color schemes. Some of them, like trying to modernize Law and Order for example, among others like Lifeline, etc, are harder because of their old school paint schemes. If you don't use the old paint scheme people don't recognize it, but if you do it doesn't fit the re-do. Damned if I do damned if I don't basically. Some of them are just plain easier than others because their look is already more militarized.

The problem I see in some cases *looking at Bazooka's grave* is that some Joes were never really serious to begin with. How do you make a captain grid-iron or Fridge realer? |

The 5.56x 45mm NATO cartridge is pretty much universal standard; the AR-15 family (M16/M4 and countless variants), H&K G36, Steyr AUG, SA80, FN SCAR-L, basically every assault rifle produced in the West during and after the Cold War (with the exception of then-Eastern Bloc countries) uses it. It's a pretty well balanced cartridge, with performance varying depending on target and whatever the firing platform is. THAT's what you give the bulk of the force to take against the Snakes and IGs. 7.62x51mm NATO, however, is the marksman's cartridge of choice. Bigger punch, longer range, generally better accuracy, and beastly recoil. the M14, SCAR-H, H&K G3, and FN FAL use this sucker to its nastiest, and it's often used in machine guns and sniper rifles, such as the M60 and M24 SWS. I've already started cleaning out the armory. We've got a whole bunch of stuff that just does not suit our very specific needs. For example, who the hell thought it was a good idea to replace all our .45 pistols with Desert Eagles?

Id make the Fridge a mechanic for my dio and put him in some coveralls. Captain Grid-Iron is one I still struggle with, and probably will never do. The simplist way would be to take the new Hawk/Greenshirt, use a differant head, and put a football sticker on his helmet. Then he's just a football fan in the Joe force.
