Rough draft preview:
“They said you don’t ask, you get asked. So they asked, I joined. I was a Joe or so I thought. Then they threw me through 12 months of insanity training. 1st up was survival camp with Outback. That guy is nuts. Weight training with Benchpress was next. I never saw a human being lift so much so many times. Then training courses with Beachhead he’s the biggest meanest a-hole I ever met…twice as mean and ugly as my mother-in-law. Then I was supposed to track down and shoot Low-light in the dead of night before he shot me. Yeah right, that was two hours wasted. I go through course after course until the final course which I survive barley. At this point I don’t care. I can barely lift my arms. My legs are practically dead weight. I got 90 lbs. on my back. I’m exhausted beyond belief. I haven’t slept in over 72 hours. It could be Friday or Monday for all I know. Heck, at this point I’m not even sure I’m still alive. This could be hell, sure seems right. But I passed. So that’s it. I’m in right? I’m finally on the team….nope. They make me a freaking lousy greenshirt on probation.” TALES OF A GREENSHIRT |

Project A: Crippling pain, nerve damage, disfiguration, unwanted body hair growth, nausea, stomach cramps, immobility due to muscle mass impeding joint movement, bloody diarrhea. Oh, and death.
Project B: I was toying around with V-Max earlier after getting bored and watching Valor vs Venom (I blame Ctrl_z's thread.). Something that's always bothered me that has NEVER been explored in any Sonic universe (games, comics, etc.) is the effects of Chaos Energy (energy given off by the Chaos Emeralds, natch) on humans. We've seen what it can do to certain Mobians- Sonic, Shadow, Silver, Scourge, Blaze, Tails and Knuckles all get super forms or something related- and of course Robotnik has built more than a few machines that draw power from the Emeralds, i.e. certain Metal Sonic models- but it's never been seen what it can do to humans, whether from direct or prolonged exposure. Since the Blue Crew get pulled into mine, so do the Emeralds. And what do you think Cobra Commander thinks the minute he hears about these absurdly powerful jewels? "Hey, I wonder if these things can be exploited to build me an army of super soldiers?", of course. So Cobra gets an Emerald and a group of "volunteers". And start experimenting on them, gradually obtaining more test subjects and emeralds in the process. All suffer horrifying deaths or mutations, and just about as CC is about to have both Mindbender's and Robotnik's asses, a breakthrough. One subject survives. He looks perfectly normal, but can punch through a HISS tank and outrun a Stinger Jeep. He's virtually immune to bullets; nothing short of a .50 BMG can so much as leave a scratch. And he can move and kill shit with his mind. He's deemed a success. They produce an entire squad of more like him, 13 in all. 13 Chaos-empowered super soldiers. All utterly unstoppable, all completely loyal to Cobra. They are deemed Chaos Vipers, and they have one purpose: The complete and utter annihilation of all who stand in the way of Cobra. I'm looking at various figures to use as parts. This bastard is going to happen. |

DOH! Yeah see you're not alone. Also debating doing a Joe Dio (think thats the name) on this. Expand on some of the stuff I don't have time to in my story. Like the 12 months of training. |
