Thanks man. kinda both.
Almost my whole family is in law, so I just wanted to prove I could be if I wanted to. (I beat everyone's LSAT score (98th percentile) without any prep whatsoever - yes, we do compete on things like that) But it's also useful backup. If I don't get into med here, or anywhere else in Canada, or grad school here, I at least know I get to do something next year. Quote:
Too late, I hit up Jason's Deli and got a Beefeater for the day. ;)
Smashburger is below the Improv in Addison. Just past the Addison Well on the left going up Beltline. A whopping block or so from Mooyah. I tried 5 Brothers up north before they came to town. Rather dull, but most of these places are. Have you seen where the In & Out was built up there? I figure it's around Stonebriar, but that place is a huge mess overall. |

Planning to stay in Calgary if at all possible (I have an interview on the 26th - which gives me a 20-25% chance). UBC, Northern Ontario, Ottawa and McMaster all turned me down. Still waiting on Alberta, Saskatchewan, McGill, Toronto, Queens, and Memorial. Waterloo is optometry. Getting in out of province is basically impossible (ie. 5 spots for out of province in a class of 160). Which means I get to stress until May about if/where I'm going. |

Calgary had 1900 applicants. Only 1200 had full file reviews. About 644 got interviews. 150-160 will get in. No stress. Random thought: there are now two star wars zombie novels. |

I know. I have them.
I maintain my point. I like zombie stories to be zombie stories. I don't like the cross overs. The one I just read -was- a zombie story, it wasn't Star Trek+Zombies. it was a zombie story who's setiting was a hotel during a ST convention. lol And yes. "Zombies are the new Vampires..... but with less sparkle" I've even seen (( did not BUY)) a book of Zombie Romance.
