Well no, not in the last 10-15 years, but when I was younger it snowed a lot here. They say it's the Gulf Stream that is causing better weather around Iceland, the currents are changing.
The northwest, the north and the east still get a lot of snow and the interior, but not here in the south. I lived in Boston for 5 years and I saw more snow there, then I've seen for years here in Iceland.

Sounds fair, so how long will all of that take to accomplish though?

And we have tons of glaciers if you want to see some ice, like the largest one in Europe, Vatnajökull glacier.

Well the weather here is relatively mild, mild winters and mild summers, the winter temperatures usually never go far below 0° Celcius or 32° Fahrenheit but then the wind blows here pretty hard so everything seems to be much colder. Also we see very little sunshine during the dead of winter, no wonder that we have so many stories about trolls, ogres, dwarfs, ghosts and hidden people. The summers are a different thing, the sun doesn't set in 2 months and the average temperature is 63°-70° fahrenheit, it can get hotter, but also colder. And the nature here is awesome and we party hard during the summer time.

From my hometown, well the town I was born in and where my whole family lives, called Borgarnes, you can see 4 glaciers on a good day.
