Well I know I kind of showed up late to that conversation but figured I'd share some things of my own. Didn't mean to end up with the entire page, just came out that way. But least it wasn't full of junk!
Added some pictures to some of those posts too by the way. edited some others when I got back since I had some other thoughts.

you forgot care bears..
yes you youngins' I got years on you three.. Heh. I do recall many of these items and more that all three of you had mentioned... My era included Micronauts, G.U.T.S., M.U.S.C.L.E. men, WWF Superstars cartoon, A-Team Cartoon, DROIDS Cartoon, Now for toys I recall... SilverHawks, G.I.Joe Year one through now not the 1963 joes but the original scale of 3.3/4'' that we all enjoy from 1982. Thundercats, He-Man, Snoorkles, Smurfs, Scooby-Doo, Ghostbusters, The Real Ghostbusters( much more to my liking and JC's) Then we had.. Transformers, Suprisingly enough I remember Superfriends, and HeathCliff. Racking my brain here a bit.. Dennis the Menace when it was a cartoon. TMNT original series, toy items I really recall like yesterday were the Cat's Lair, Thundertank, Castle Greyskull, TmnT Sewer lair, Joe MCC, most of the joe items back then and have a few yet today.. obviously... But non-joe related I recall a plane set from ertl company that were metal planes with missiles similar to our joe stuff.. Anyone recall ''Force One'' ? how about Model guns in miniature form called Dong San replicas? mmmhmm... didn't think a lot of you would recall those. I have a few left from back then. how about.. Diaclone Transformers? Diaclones were around before Hasbro and takara gave the back story to the transforming robots we all know today as Transformers - Autobots and Decepticons. You older guys like me would remember the Diaclones cause the Micronauts would fit well with them. There was also another thing about the G.U.T.S. figures statue sets.. they had ''lifesize'' transforming playsets that one form would be a base.. the other form would be a gun, knife, or rifle.. anyone recall those? Ok.. now it's ME who is showin` some age... edited addition... Indiana Jones' Original series action figures and films.. Star-wars Empire strikes back and return of the jedi were seen during original relases in the theater back in the 80's... Not the 1990's re-releases.. I only watched New Hope when it was re-issued.. since it at the time had been the only SW film not to have been seen first time on the big screen. Glad I was able to experiance that! Oh.. and carebears. ::chuckles:: Quote:

of course who can forget the halarious adventures of Bo and Luke with their sexy cousin Daisy in Dukes of Hazzard? The series had a bright orange/red charger named General Lee, and these two fun-loving outlaws were always gettin' around the bumbling slap sticked law of Hazzard county from 1978-1986! Quote:
1989 brought on other toy -related adventures with Tim Burton's dark Knight tale of BATMAN.. staring Michael Keaton.
Who would dawn a new era of crime fighting series with a new sleek Batmobile that would go on to become one of the two most famous Bat rides ever to hit the streets of gotham! Quote:

That'd be like calling the original run "Morphing" Power Rangers I have somewhere in a box "junk". I mean, they're not in the best condition, but they're the first toys I have actual memories of. It's Sunday. Nothing ever happens on Sunday these days.

Well AA we parted a few times but you`re just one of many , just like me. However, we disagreed on a few items out of many! and of course A-Team will always be a keen part of my personal history much like you, we watched it religious as goin` to church is to others!
BBTF will to this day always be one of the best series for sci-fi. Seconded to adventure of Indiana Jones for me. Another film that brought to my mind at the mention of starcom, space odisey( spelling?) if I recall .. HAL2000? " Sorry Dave I can't do that." The figures you mentioned I had several of them. They were anthromorphic figures with halographic pictures like a fireball, stone wall and such like that. I forget the name of them but I had a fox with white armor on who came with a whicked staff My two fav batmobiles are 1966 and `89.

Yeah see, I don't really care for Football. Or Baseball. Or Soccer. Or Lacross. Or Field Hockey. Or Hockey. Or any other sport really.
Except Dodgeball, dodgeball is cool, like bow ties.

No problem Shippy. Always good to find common ground around here- although my knowledge of half of those things is limited to what's been absorbed into the memetic and collective consciousness. Plus, I'd hardly call any of that "junk".
That'd be like calling the original run "Morphing" Power Rangers I have somewhere in a box "junk". I mean, they're not in the best condition, but they're the first toys I have actual memories of. It's Sunday. Nothing ever happens on Sunday these days. Most of the things I'd mentioned... I could tell you stories about what I'd do with my neighbor back in the day with joes. How many watched Wrestling back then, and even today .. and had ''wrestling events'' with their joes? Back in the early 1990's... WWF had a smaller set of figures out and a ring. Well... I had the ring and used my joes to battle one another in the squared circle, but i'd also had a boat load of wwf figures too at the time. but before that time, we would have front porch brawls.. his joes vs. my joes and we would alternate having the forces battle it out. That all changed one afternoon in spring when the TTT pulled up to the brawl with the sarge. I was the first one between the two of us to have that figure .. also the mail-away, but the tank made such an entrance heh. It might not have had it's graphics on and it mighta been box fresh but... ahh the smell of new plastic. Years later when we moved to a new place.. Had a new neighbor that i hung with a younger boy named Tom. his folks were redoing their house and had a ton of junk brick and mortar in the back yard from the renovation. we built forts with the stuff. and it kind of resembled the scenes we`d witness during those epic toy commercials back then. also recall having Rambo figures some time ago too...
