I know a bunch of us have been trying to get everyone together for a little pow wow...

No offense, but it's always outta' the city! How about a TRUE CHI-TOWN gathering!!!??? (Preferably at a bar or pub, nothing beats a drunken ramble over that ROC CC garbage!)


I know several spots that we could overtake (provided all attending are over 21...Even then, I MAY pull some strings at one spot, AND it's easy to get too! Near Milwaukee and Western Ave.)

Plus, I'm thinking about talking to Bobby at LUCKY NUMBER GRILL and seeing if he'd be down with a bunch of us over-taking his club for a night. It's a bonus that it's easy to get to, two stories, good food, and great booze prices.

And if we swing him 5 bucks a head, I'm sure he'd offer up drink or grub specials.

Only bad thing is it prolly couldn't be a Thurs-Sat night cause he's got promos booked those nights.

But regardless, it's damn close to the expressway, and literally across the street from CTA's Western Blue Line stop (A blessing for us drunks)

Who knows, I might even be able to get a DJ to play a set or two between geek-fandom playing the DVD set DVDs (Or if someone has the MOVIE on DVD)

I talked to the guy who owns Lucky Number Grill and he's down for the idea. UNFORTUNATLY, it won't be a thurs thru Sat night since they already have contracted weekly DJs, but a Sun-Weds is good to go!
