tank customizers,
i have a project coming up and i was wondering if anyone here knows how to make custom decals? if so is it hard to do? if anyone does do this would thay be willing to make a deal with me produce some decals that would require some costomization? |

Most hobby/arts & crafts shops sell printable decal sheets. It's pretty easy if you already have the design drafted out in the aprropriate size. Just print the design you want on them using a home ink-jet printer. How good it will look on the figure depends on the thickness of the decal sheet, though. The thicker ones look horrible on 1:18 scale figures. Also, you might want to dab some sealant on them to prevent the printer ink from rubbing off since they're not desgned for plastics application, but you'll need to apply the sealant with a very light touch, as this itself can cause the ink to smear. We used a printed decal sheet to make the anti-Cobra symbol on our Mercer custom (click on my profile and view it under my album to see how it worked out).
