Thank you.
Just doing my part to keep folks from buying bogus toys. This fake Storm Shadow listing has me almost as angry as the time I found out about the bogus Encore Metroplex robots coming out of a pirate company in China. Did you hear about that one? |

Looking at my vintage one I noticed a few differences between the two:
1. The lines inside the Cobra symbol look like they are more squared off on the ebay one while the vintage one looks to curve with the hood of the Cobra. 2. The copyright is higher up on the butt than on the vintage one. Also it looks like it only says: Made in China While the one I have says : 1984 Hasbro Made in Hong Kong I realise that there was a change over at some point with the copyright info, but that would mean that these definately aren't 1984 Storm Shadows |

BOOTLEGS!!!
i've seen this on the bay and never bit the bait. they're way too white and the fact that they show the alleged water damaged case smells fishy. not to mention the broken Engrish. the dead ringer is the Cobra logo. so very obvious. this reminds me of all those Asian Gold PDD's that are on the market. CAVEAT EMPTOR!! |

The rivets look like they have been placed correctly to me. The problem I have with them is that they seem to be too big. I also think that the elbow joint rivets should have been colored to match his skin. Aren't those rivets on the original 1984 ARAH Stormshadow colored in a metallic peach skintone color?
