'Cause except for the Thunderbolt, almost none of them are being used anymore by us. Science marches on. These days Ace and Wild Bill wouldn't be caught dead in anything less than a Raptor and Apache.

Cobra's gear, being the most sci-fi or specialized, seems to hold up better over time. The Rattler and FANG are good exceptions though, as the Thunderbolt is still the best ground attack aircraft in existance, and an attack copter you could fold up and hide in the back of a pickup truck is still a pretty good weapon for a secret terrorist organization.

Actually Wild Bill would do just fine in the AH-1Z Viper.

Ahh... the Supercobra. Yeah, looking at the specs he'd probably be more at home in that puppy. It's specs are also on par with the Apache too (slightly better speed and climb rate, but less ammo and smaller combat radius).

I'd like to see the Military channel do a head to head between them.

I was thinking the SAME thing, but my guess is licensing issues...and what Zefram said about outdated vehicles...A fanboy can dream

The SuperCobras are Whiskey models. If only Monkey Depot had turned up those for their sale.

If you want to get technical,

Night Raven = CIA M-21 and D-21 drone.

Lockheed D-21/M-21 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I remember finding a picture of this in a book as a kid and thinking Aha! I got one of those in black and orange.

While this is all fun information, all of those vehicles are old, and I for one am happy to see new vehicles arising for the film.
