What the heck is going on with the convention? Why is the registration and set not announced yet? You would think that with this economy, they would have things ready to go much earlier as people are more tight with their money. Especially with tax time. Anyway, they are always late, but this year, it should in fact be ready to go much quicker. Come on!

Do you mean the SDCC or the official G.I. Joe convention? Maybe some other show?

Henderson played on nine teams, but he's sure to be inducted as an Oakland Athletic, like Eckersley, and depicted wearing an A's cap on his plaque. The A's were Henderson's first and favorite team, so much so that he returned three times and wanted to return a fourth so he could retire in green and gold.

Sorry, I meant the Joe convention this year in K.C.
Every year the info is getting pushed back to closer of the date that it opens. Lanny, from Mastercollecter always has an excuse and never gives anyone any real answers. Another thing, being part of the G.I. Joe club is starting to become more and more redundant as the info released is nothing new and the newsletters are not up to par IMHO. Just a nother frustrating rant. |

There really is no incentive (besides the "free" figure) to be a member of the Club. Can buy everything they offer elsewhere (and sometimes for cheaper). They don't have any exclusive news or photos or anything.
Hasbro does a lousy job of supporting the official collector's club.

Hell, they didn't send me my Club mag last month, and blew off my e-mails to them about it. Now it looks like they won't be sending me my final issue either. The Club, and Brian are really unreasonable to work with. Takes many many emails to get anything worked out. The communications process is very painful. Overall, what I got out of the club was fairly useless, and better content is freely available on the many Joe sites and forums.

More than likely I will not be renewing my memembership. There is just not enough benefit except for a free bagged figure.

I ordered 2 comics from them (the exclusive ones). They process the order and then when it comes time to ship they then tell me that I have to pay shipping, after the order was already processed.
So I agreed to pay a certain price for the books and shipping, processed the order only to find out (couple weeks later) that I would have to pay additional shipping. Yeah, turned me off from doing business with them for good. They cost themselves a couple hundred dollars worth of sales for shipping on 2 comic books.
