Why the hell would they want to dumb it down now? They can just show it on adult swim so the kiddies can't see it.
I would be really bummed out if they end up making it for the kiddies.

Why does it have to be dumbed down to appeal to kids? Are kids dumb? No. They can appreciate well-written stories just as much as adults. Resolute doesn't have to be Rated R, but dumbing it down like the Clone Wars animation is not going to attract wider audiences.

I voted "no" simply because of the footage I saw from the SDCC airing was so freakin cool, it can't be replaced. I would however take a new cartoon if it was sorta in the middle of the footage we saw and a little toned down (no blood/guts shown, but deaths do occur (basically no entry/exit wounds shown)).....my first choice would be to put Resolute out on DVD though
"Ninja?? I didn't know we had a Ninja!"

We haven't heard that much about Resolute, and we definitely haven't officially seen much of it either. You would think by now they would have made the teaser available online instead of having to look up the shaky cam footage on Youtube.
Still, with these little bits and pieces from interviews, articles, and what have you one message has been perfectly clear and that is that Resolute is for mature audiences. Even the teaser shows this by having the original opening flicker and burn away as we're taken right in the middle of a battlefield.
If they were to go back and totally overhaul Resolute, turning it into just another all ages cartoon would be a slap in the face to the entire fan base. I can't imagine Warren Ellis being involved in something like that either, if you read interviews with about Resolute some of the first things he talks about is who he gets to kill hah.
Hasbro has their movie for the masses, Resolute is supposed to be only an hour long altogether. Give the old fans, the ones who helped support the franchise their cake..let them eat cake!

Would I prefer if it was aimed at me, a 22 year old college student who wants action? Yes. Will that sell the merch? Heck no. If they dumb it down, oh well, I can live with it.

IMO as long as they don't show any blood they can get away with a lot of violence and still market it towards kids. There is a lot of death and destruction in Clone Wars and that show simply rocks. But since lightsabers and lasers don't cause any of the wounds they cause to bleed I guess the creators of the show got lucky with that. LOL.
