As much as I hate you repackers, I located a a comic pack viper and iron grenadier. Yet when I took a second look at it, it had Darth Talon instead of the iron grenadier. I always liked the appearance of Darth Talon but could not come around to spending 12 dollars on a star wars figure. So I purchased this gaining Darth Talon and increased my viper army in the mean time. So as much as I HATE repackers, thank you for your dishonest larceny move...

You know I had a similar experience with a Marvel Legends 2-pack. Someone replaced the Ronin figure with a Black Panther figure. I've been wanting that Marvel Legends Black Panther for a long while now, so I thought it was my lucky day. I ended up leaving it behind though because the figure had some white paint or something else on it. I just didn't know or want to know where that figure had previously been.

You know that's the chance you take with any loose figure you buy at a garage sale, on ebay, or trade for on here. I usually wipe down everything I get with those cleaning wipes. For the most part I've been very lucky with the overall condition of things. There have been some cases though where I thought to myself "where they hell did this come from" especially when the auction said it was from an adult collector from a smoke free, pet free home.

You guys have some strange toy phobias.... makes me wonder what toy collectors do in your area to give you the impression that EVERYTHING must have been in someone's ass at some point if you didn't see where it came from. You think those toy companies in China are totally sanitary? Maybe you should go clean your entire collection, right now! There might be germs on stuff!
When was the last time you looked at your collection, btw? Someone might have done something vile to it in that split second your attention was elsewhere... |

I shudder to think what could have happened to some of my old ARAH action figures.
You know how sick kids are. Some of them might have been peed on, or thrown in a toilet full of turds, or stuck up the butt of the family cat. Just think how hilarious it would be to a child to be like "Ha, ha, I'm peeing on Duke!" or to have Tiger the tabby running shrieking through the house with Sneak Peek hanging out of his ass. |

No.
I do wonder sometimes what individual action figures that got played with have been through, though. I know I chewed on mine as a kid. Star Wars and Masters of the Universe were more palatable than Joes, though, as the plastic was softer. |

I came across a repack Tunnel Rat/Storm Shadow comic pack the other day that kind of blew my mind.
I'll start with SS: His head, and one leg were completely missing, though his helmet was left in place making it look like his head was still there. Strange, but whatever... Tunnel Rat was replaced by a pristine vintage Tunnel Rat. That left me scratching my head. |
