Buying them hoping they go up in value later is kind of dumb unless its something that is actually NOT readily availible (like Yellow stalker/Wraith variant etc). Though when the prices jump super high and everyone suddenly wants to make a buck by unloading theirs.. well yeah. I can't really see paying $15-$20 for a normal figure like an Eel or whatever since generally they WILL be available en masse before too long.

I think the 'rare' figures are cool, special, different. I don't see why so many people have to come here and rip on them, without really even answering the question. Saying "a turd" or "would never pay for that" isn't really adding anything constructive to the conversation.

No trolling, or flaming.
Any form of personal insult is a no-no. As a basic rule of thumb: if you think that what you are about to post is insulting, don't post it. No posting with the intent of starting "Drama". If you feel the need to start trouble, go elsewhere. |

Out of these, I own most of them, and those that I don't I generally don't care about. Then only one listed that I don't have that I would want is blue Wraith... I'd drop about $30 on it, which means I'll probably never get it.
1. SDCC Gold PDD - Nothing 2. SDCC Silver PDD - I paid $25, that's fair especially since it was a pretty dumb concept. 3. Rowdy Roddy Piper - Nothing... not a big fan 4. Yellow Stalker - Had it, paid $4.99, sold it for $300 5. SDCC Blue CC - Bought two for $10, wouldn't pay more than that 6. SE w Black Timber - got it, paid $7.99 7. Shipwreck shark tattoo - got it, paid $5.99 8. Gung Ho w/ unpainted anchor - Didn't even know it existed, don't care. 9. Doc mail away - Whatever shipping was on it... 10. CLEAR WRAITH* - $30 - $35 |
