I prefer buying vintage vehicles that don't have stickers applied yet and buy repro stickers cause I really like my stickers on straight. If I'm buying one that has stickers, I look at how the stickers are applied before deciding.

Agreed. Short of buying a collector owned vehicle, most loose Joe vehicles will have missing stickers or ones in poor shape after all the years. I would rather buy a vehicle, remove the old stickers, clean it and then put new retro stickers on. I find it to buy a lot of fun. Almost as good as unboxing a vintage MISB Joe vehicle.

I love finding vintage stuff without stickers applied so I can buy repros and sticker it up myself. That said, I think there were a few vintage items I found where the original stickers looked good enough to keep.
I wouldn't mind buying something already reprolabeled if it was done well. Most of the time I need to put in some work and remove all the old stickers first, then apply my own. It is a rewarding process. That is funny!

I haven't started yet but I think that is what I am going to do. Take off the old stickers, clean it up real good, and put repro stickers on it. I'm going to see if I can get it looking really new again. Bring it back from the dead.
