$8 for single figs, MAX
$12 for Comic Double packs, MAX $25 for medium vehicles and small double vehicle packs, MAX $35 for large vehicles (like jets and boats) I think the web pricing for a lot of Joe stuff is ridiculous. I can barely ever find this stuff on the shelves and after talking to a collector the other day, I know why. There are guys up in my area who buy loads of stuff and just slap it on E-Bay for WAY more than they paid. Makes me want to frag some people (of course, I wouldn't, but it gives you that "I wish I could" feeling)

I'm pretty much not collecting anymore because of the prices. I'm not paying $10 for Joes. Not paying $20 + $9 shipping for the Masters Of The Universe Classics. And I feel sorry for Marvel fans, they get these tiny Marvel Universe figures for the same price as the larger Marvel Legends. Sideshow,Medicom & Hot Toys totally killed my 12" figure collecting. I'm not touching the new Transformers or GI Joe movie toys. I HATE Transformers:Animated so I'm only buying Transformers:Universe now & that's ending soon. My toy collecting days are slowly coming to an end.
Everybody I talk to says the same thing, YOU DON'T RAISE PRICES DURING A RECESSION OR DEPRESSION! Why would you raise prices when people aren't spending as freely??? Last edited by B.A.T.; 03-02-2009 at 07:37 AM.. |

Just like I went to K-mart recently and they had a lot of Wave 1 Clone Wars figs from months ago but they were all bent up a little. Of course; sometimes I buy stuff and change my mind later and return it so I'm guilty as well. LOL. |

I preordered the Marvel stuff at BBTS, but may just take it out of my POL and have the credit to put toward joe stuff. I really feel that with the movie stuff coming out and taking a break from buying past this resurrected Stinger/Arctic Hiss wave, and the final fling of seven packs, I might just pack it in. Moving on with life and trying to enjoy the boxes and boxes of what I already have, do I need more. I say that now but am sure an occasional something has to be purchased to satisfy my buying desires....LOL.

All Joe figures should be 4.99.
I encourage someone to post the "at cost" price.

Prices on everything has gone up. So the only affect it has on me is that I'm no longer army building, so that extra cash will go to the other lines I collect, like Star Wars and the Marvel Universe figures.
