I am going to be in the Disney World area with my family during the convention so I want to attend. Since I will be spending most of the time with my family I probably won't be attending any of the Panels, Casino Night or customizing classes.
I'm not a big fan of the box set right now, but I may want to get it as an impulse buy at the convention. My general reason for wanting to attend is to cherry pick stuff without paying ebay prices. All that being said, is it still worth it to get the American Heroes' package if I have even the slightest inkling of wanting to get the box set (basically is $415 a good deal or not for the box set and early bird/ Friday Private Exhibitor access). If not is the Saturday $80 early bird access worth it? Will I still have a good chance at getting the Convention Box Set if I have early bird access, and are my chances significantly increased for getting anything else I might want. Or should I just go for general admission? Basically how fast do things typically fly off the shelves at the conventions. Are General Admission/ Saturday Early Bird goers doomed to get nothing? |

Usually, everything gets sold out before general admission people who don't pre-register even get to go. Anything not sold out by Saturday morning probably wouldn't be worth getting and would still be available to general admission.

Thanks nighthawk.
Does anyone know generally how much a box set costs, and can you buy it outside of the American Hero's package at the convention? If a Sergeant's package is already $215 and basically only gets you in on Friday and Saturday and not much else, then is it worth it just to go American Hero's instead? Again I'm not crazy about BF2000 and a bunch of BATS (no Overkill?), but if there is a significant savings then I'll just opt for it. |

Sadly, my friend, there is no such thing as significant savings when it comes to JoeCon. If you're not too crazy about the set, save yourself the $400 and just get General Admission on Saturday.

There will be plenty of people selling the figures either together or separate.
The only risk you take is 2 or 3 packs or the vehicles selling out before Gen Admin. Also take into account carded figures, like presumably, Big Lob selling out because the voice actor is there.
