Versions 4 and 5 are also Majors. I was totally wrong. I didn't get either, although I got the GhostStriker V3 which is a decent F-16 Joe rendition.

Not familiar with Sirrom, Evans Sullivan or Michaels.....you said they were from the toon?
I cant find it now, but I remember there was a misprint for Ace's file card listing him as Wendall L. Armbruster that Ive added as Ace's cousin. Good to see someone else is adding the Blackhawks, which one are us using, Bart Hawk or the second Janos Prohaska? YOJOE.COM | Night Boomer Evans, Sullivan & Michaels are from this list under U.S. Military Officers: Cartoon exclusives - G.I. Joe Wiki - Joepedia - GI Joe, Cobra, toys Frank Sullivan & Ron Michaels were two downed USAF Pilots, & Major Evans was Lady Jaye's Co-Pilot. Blackhawk, I'm using the Bart Hawk version. my fic uses the Headhunters as a seperate drug smuggling outfit since it's a continuation of the comics. Similarly, the Black Dragons, Skull Squad and the Coil are seperate outfits. I took the basic concepts of those three from the Club and then took them in a slightly different direction. The Black Dragons are mercs, but don't work for Cobra. The Coil are a splinter group led by Overlord who didn't like CC's direction after he came back from 'the dead' and he's recruited other disaffected Cobras as well as new members. Skull Squad are mercs led by Major Bludd who have worked for the Coil, but not Cobra.

One thought on codenames for fighter pilots, their call signs are not usually ego boosting type names. The calls signs in Hot Shots were more accurate. I have known a "Tex" "Porno" "Dead" "Kato" and I was given an "honorary call sign" of "Caveman".
