I'm loving the teams. I wish I knew more about the Extreme Guys, since they exist and some versions of characters are so different you could just rename them one of those guys. I tried doing that with the Grill, and one of the various versions of Heavy Duty. But using the Sigma six artwork works great. Tunnel Rat looks nothing like the one I grew up and 'Mouse" is hardly a stretch.
I love the rawhide team idea. Grid-Iron, Grunt and even Crossfire seem like the perfect matchup with the new recruits. You can also use the Sgt Savage guys. There's only a few of them. and Sgt Boulder and Lockdown and the SHortFuze from the Sigma Six line. Even just for the Artwork. I see you have Torpedo with the LtJG grade. I've chosen to bump him up to Lt like his new Filename suggests, but then he outranks Cutter. (My Cutter is a Commander which is long overdue) Do you plan to put Airborne V1 on a different team? I never knew how best to differentiate the two, so I call V2 Sgt Six, but that doesn't fit the 12 man teams you have, which I think works great. Are you going to make Duke a Major now that he got a promotion with the movie. Great Work though. I can't wait to see your main teams. Like a Recon Team, Ranger Team, Urban Team. |

You should consider adding the Juggles in a spot above Colton.

Lockdown will be apart of the Urban team. But I have them Under Maj. Bullet-Proof. The Steel Brigade guys under the Steel Brigade Cmdr. w/ both teams reporting to Sure-Fire.
I am trying to use the Sgt. Savage & Extreme guys throughout the teams. Sgt. Boulder will be used in one of the other teams. Short-Fuze that I used is from the Extreme comics. Didn't know of the Sigma Six one. I wil try to find out more about him. As far as duke being a major. I am not sure. I plan on using Breaker as a new character. Which works because he has a different name. I also plan on using Dial-Tone (the female) & Brainstorm from the new comic. They will all be in the Communication Center under Col. Sharpe. Sorry forgot to mention Airborne. The original Airborne is going to be used w/ Wild Bill for the Dragonfly. Airborne (Six) I call Archangel since he is a battlefield medic.

I hate the name, but I do not know how else to use them.

Again, the way I use them Steel Brigade are the Security Force for the G.I. Joe team. Troopers guard the Pit & Paratroopers guard the USS Flagg. On Urban Assault Missions they provide backup.

Love all this stuff! Archangel is a cool changed codename. ninja Forces works out just nicely with a cool dozen. I'm not sure if Short-fuze Sigma -Six ever made into production. |

I know I used Grand Slam's pic for Red Spot but I couldn't find a decent pic of Red Spot to use.
I used Flash, Sci-Fi & Robo-JOE because in my vision when there is no Space mission they work in the R&D lab. Last edited by Darkhawk75; 05-24-2009 at 10:09 PM.. |
