Problem with 'Dillos is that for every Armadillo you have, you need a driver. Now, can say that the Armadillo's replace the larger tanks in some conflicts, so that the tank drivers become armadillo drivers when needed. That's what I'm doing. I'm going to have 3-4 dedicated Armadillo drivers and then the rest of the time the tank drivers will drive Armadillos as needed. Armadillos make great escort vehicles as well.

Not quite sure how I want to use them. Right now you got me thinking of adding some A-10s to my Air Support. lol.
Also was looking at different Ships to see if I want to do a G.I. Joe fleet. I was looking @: Amphibious Transport Dock: San Antonio Class High Speed Vessel: Sea Fighter (FSF-1), HSV-X1 Joint Venture & HSV-2 Swift. Joint High Speed Vessel (JHSV): MV Westpac Express Experimental Ships: Sea Shadow (IX-529) & M80 Stiletto Mark V SOC (Special Operations Craft) |

I'm using 2 JHSVs with 2 Mark V SOC (2 each JHSV) for escort/protection. I did away with the Flagg. Didn't want to get into dealing with the crew of an aircraft carrier. And it's not very fast or efficient.
The JHSV can unload onto land, can carry 2-3 Hummes and a couple of Blackhawks, has a crew of about 40 and can "sleep" another 30 troops or so. They're perfect for the Joes.

Are you using the Joe version of an A-10, which is the Rattler with the rear gunner, or the true version? The real A-10 doesn't have the rear gunner and is just a single-person plane.

Going back a few posts VAMPS do make great towing vehicles as do Triple 'T's. Just kidding they are the most worthless thing I've ever seen, I just happen to have 3. |

Would a Hammer or Brawler be better than a VAMP for towing the HALs, SLAMs, MMSs & Whirlwinds?
It has more firepower than the VAMP |
