That would make my Armor & Mechanized Teams strictly Vehicle operators.

Yeah put Hit & Run and Muskrat with Tiger Force, and make it a 12 man team with no green Shirts.
Half the other guys you want to move are really the core of an artillery team. Bazooka, Fast-Draw, Tripwire, Lightfoot, Mirage, Grand Slam, Hardball, Big Lob, Effects, Dynamite, Zap, Short-Fuze, Backblast, D-Day, Rampart & Downtown. All are experienced with explosives or ordnance or Artillery. |

What if I moved Outback & Sgt. Boulder out of the Team? Replace them w/ Sneak Peek & one Other & move one of the Communications guys into Desert Ops.
I could move the ones I listed earlier into one of Rawhides Platoons. So 1/2 of the Company are experienced Joes. Who Teach the recruits when there is no mission. Could also seperate Specialties into Fire Teams. For Example: Sgt. Boulder, Alpine & Hit&Run could form a Fireteam w/ Two Greenshirts. Just a thought. I think Hit & Run plus Muskrat should be Tiger Force take out Cool Breeze and Boulder. They could be in the Rawhides team. Not to make the Rawhides team only lesser joes but Those two are mot so important. Leave the Desert Team I think it works very well. I think Alpine and Boulder will work fine together without Hit & Run. If you move some of the guys out of the Armor teams you can probably combine them down to 4 instead of the 5 teams you have. Put Starduster with the Air Support guys. Maybe Glenda too, but she may be the pilot for the helicopter in the Rhino.
You could call one team Transportation. I need to look at those again. All the driver fit, but then they seem to lack a purpose however. Yet if they are driving for these other teams they sort of have a different role. Maybe you can combine the Driver with the teams that they seem to fit with. So Mech recon would work with Extreme. Fast Attack and Mechanized assault with the Rawhides, with the Artillery guys as another unit. Air Defense as another unit. Certain Vehicles like the RHINO and the ROCC and the GENERAL and the MCC should almost be attached to a commander and his unit. Those are so large they would need to go with a larger unit. Like Rawhides. The Rawhides are you're only large unit? I like to think the MCC is the HQ for your Armor Unit. put all the tanks together but fill out with green shirt loaders, and drivers for the MOBAT; MAULER, BRAWLER; Grizzley. It could be a platoon sized unit if you add every named driver as a tank commander. The General can be the HQ for the Artillery. Major Barrage and Major Storm pose a slight problem as they are equal in rank. I think that the Artillery and Air defense need to be together since Artillery needs protection. But The Slugger, and the Thunderclap should go here. The ROCC and the RHINO fit with the Urban squad and with Sure-Fire and the Steel Brigade. If you need more green Shirts they should be nameless Steel-Brigade troops. Make the Rawhides a Fast Attack Unit. Where is Bullet Proof? I'm wondering since Grid-Iron and Rapid-Fire have the same rank. But move some of the Wheeled Vehicles not with Extreme here. Like The Battle Wagon with Cross-Country or the MeanDog I'm think out loud here but these are sort of how I arranged some of my teams in the past as I focused around the HQ element of the large playsets that are mobile HQs. |

I am trying to refigure how I have the teams arranged. Sorry I was an AF Security Force Member. That's why I am doing the Security Teams (Steel Brigades & Urban Assault) last. I am more familiar w/ that aspect.
Right now I am thinking of making Grid-Iron's team the largest, being Company sized w/ three platoons of 30(?). Incorporating all the Joes I am moving from the Armor teams. Thats 24 Joes to incorporate w/ Grid-Irons Teams of around 90. (I am trying to beef this number up). I want to add a fourth Platoon that will be the Heavy Weapons Platoon. Most of the guys from the Artillery, Anti-Armor & EOD. This also gives me a place to put the Hostile Environment Team. When everything is said is done The Rawhides (Extreme is going into this) & Steel Brigades are going to be Company sized. The Arctic & Desert Team Platoon sized. The A-Team, Sky Patrol & Tiger Force a 12man Team. Does that make sense? Last edited by Darkhawk75; 05-18-2009 at 03:06 PM.. |

Now I see. Wow the company sized Rawhides is going to look huge. Just telling by the size of the Desert and Arctic units.
